I am Ana Fernández, a Full Professor in the Department of Biology (Animal Physiology) at the Autonomous University of Madrid. My academic interests lie in pathophysiology, with my current research focusing on the role of inflammatory mediators in the pathogenesis of various renal and tumor-related diseases. Outside of academia, I enjoy staying active through sports, particularly spinning.
