About me

I’m a biologist and biochemist with a master’s degree in human health biology. I began by studying rare diseases caused by thyroid hormone deficiency at the Institute for Biomedical Research (IIB). For the following three years, I investigated how these hormones affect liver development during embryogenesis at the University of Chicago. Currently, I work at the CIB exploring treatments for retinitis pigmentosa, a neurodegenerative retinal disease.
