About me

Susana Muñoz Hernández is a professor at the ETSIINF of the Polytechnic University of Madrid since 1998. Her research began in the field of logical computing and constraint programming, which she has used in applications to solve real problems modeled using fuzzy logic.
Since 2006, she has led the TEDECO (Technology for Development and Cooperation) Cooperation Group, with which she has participated in projects in Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Sudan, Algeria, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Congo, Mozambique, Jordan, Cuba, El Salvador, and Ecuador, among other countries. She has also participated in projects with vulnerable groups (the elderly, people with mental illnesses, prisoners, women in situations of violence, migrants, refugees, people in rural areas, etc.) in Spain, the Netherlands, and France.
Her most notable line of research is digital inclusion through innovative methodologies that can be replicated in adverse and rural contexts.
An unconditional fan of all types of world dance, she even dances underwater and has been a member of the artistic swimming federation for five years.
