Primeras imágenes del observatorio Herschel
El enlace contiene una secuencia de imágenes que corresponden a la separación del observatorio Herschel del módulo Sylda y el telescopio Planck.
La maniobra fue realizada a unos 1150 km sobre África, minutos después del lanzamiento desde la estación de Kourou, por un cohete Ariane 5.
Todo el evento fue retransmitido en directo, y desde el «European Space Astronomy Centre», en Madrid, pudimos difrutar de la emoción de todo el proceso, y de la alegría de todos los que han participado directamente en algunas de estas dos misiones, verdaderas joyas de la corona.
