El rayo verde desde Mauna Kea: fotos y video

Desde 4200 metros … uno de los rayos verdes más bonitos que he tenido la fortuna de contemplar. He añadido un par de fotos en alta resolución y un video realizado con la secuencia de fotos.


El Sol con forma de reloj de arena. Es muy poco probable observar un fenómeno de este tipo (crédito DByN). Una imagen en alta resolución se encuentra en este enlace.

 

No, no hemos podido observar durante la pasada noche. La humedad era demasiado alta para realizar observaciones submilimétricas, aunque el resto de los telescopios si abrieron sus cúpulas y comenzaron sus operaciones. Pero tuvimos la oportunidad de disfrutar de una espectacular puesta de Sol.


Y aquí esta, un rayo verde por espejsmo simulado o superior (crédito DByN). Una imagen en alta resolución se encuentra en este enlace.

Las fotos fueron tomadas con una pequeña cámara digital, pero con un zoom ópico bastante bueno (x10). Sin trípode y con viento (y bastante frío, por cierto). Aun así, han quedado bastante bien. Las fotos no han sido procesadas en modo alguno. Prometo utilizar el trípode la próxima vez. En los enlaces se pueden enconrar entradas anteriors describiendo el fenómeno.
