The Foundation is a body for evaluating the quality of teaching, research, management and accreditation procedures of programs and strategies for the implementation of improvements. In this regard, its actions give priority to the improvement of teaching and research quality in line with the emerging trends of demands originating from the different cultural and productive sectors of society in Madrid and Spain.

European Researchers’ Night

The European Researchers´ Night in Madrid is a European initiative that aims to enhance public recognition of researchers and their work. It is promoted by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, coordinated by Fundación para el Conocimiento madri+d and co-funded by the European Commission. The event is held the last Friday of September simultaneously in over 300 cities since 2005.
